Miruna Craciunescu

In her PhD dissertation French Biofictions (1978-2017): Revisiting the Renaissance Through its Margins, Miruna Craciunescu studied the reconceptualization of the Renaissance in contemporary historical novels under the supervision of Professor Diane Desrosiers at McGill University. Having published four novels under the pseudonym Miruna Tarcau, she presented several papers in international conferences on topics such as marginality, the theory of literary genres and women in contemporary historical novels. She is currently the literary editor of Hashtag Publishing and has been awarded the recipient of a SSHRC Postdoctoral Scholarship from the Federal Government of Canada for a research project on ecopoetics, under the co-supervision of Pierre Schoentjes (U.Ghent) and Richard Saint-Gelais (U. Laval).
